Evidence-Based Treatment

Most Evidence-Based Psychological Treatments (EBPTs) do not address core challenges commonly faced by community mental health clinicians, such as the high rates of diagnostic

comorbidity among treatment-seekers, long client wait lists, the demand for group therapy, and clinicians’ limited time and resources to learn diagnosis-specific EBPTs. Transdiagnostic Group Treatment offers a possible solution: a continuous-enrollment transdiagnostic group treatment. This approach is both based on empirical research and practical for deployment in community mental health settings.
